Shaayak Sen

Shaayak Sen is a Northwestern junior majoring in Economics and Religion, with a minor in BIP.  He specializes in mathematics and the ACT, SAT, and has had plenty of tutoring experience in the past. In high school Shaayak worked both as a volunteer tutor for his school district and as an employee at Kumon Learning Center. Shaayak has a very specific tutoring style in which he approaches the student more as a respected friend rather than simply someone to be taught. He believes that the best tutoring happens when there’s a strong connection between the student and the tutor, and he strives to make students comfortable as he aides them through their studies. In his free time Shaayak loves to watch the Food Channel (mainly because he loves food), and his favorite show on the network is Iron Chef America.
