Monica Kalwani

Monica Kalwani is a sophomore from West Lafayette, Indiana, double majoring in economics and mathematics.  She is a National Merit Scholar, a National AP Scholar, and a Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship recipient.  She was also Valedictorian of the West Lafayette High School Class of 2009.  She specializes in ACT/SAT prep, math, English, and general chemistry.  In addition to over a year of experience with NUtutors, her past tutoring experience includes summer SAT tutoring, volunteering to provide homework help after school at a community center, and giving computer lessons at the Indiana Veterans’ Home. Her tutoring approach focuses on long-term skill development in addition to conceptual learning. In her free time, Monica enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, eating Thai food, and watching NFL football (especially the Indianapolis Colts).
