Mesum Mathison

Mesum Mathison is a sophomore at Northwestern University majoring in psychology. She hails from the suburbs of the Washington D.C. area and graduated as a valedictorian of McLean High School, where she avidly tutored at the elementary and high school levels. Her favorite subjects to tutor are the ACT/SAT tests, English and essay writing, and music. Mesum strongly believes in fostering relationships with the students she tutors and catering to individual learning styles. As an aspiring psychology professor, teaching and tutoring are very close to her heart. In her spare time, Mesum loves playing clarinet, piano, and a little acoustic guitar; she also has a passion for reading classic novels, journaling, interior décor, and baking.
