Matt Doerfler
Matt Doerfler is a Northwestern sophomore studying Biomedical Engineering on the Pre-Med track. He keeps himself busy by playing club Ultimate Frisbee, being a Peer Adviser for a group of 12 freshmen engineers, and working and researching in a molecular bioscience laboratory. His research focuses on the protein kinase Cbk1 and its potential substrates. Matt’s previous experience includes two years of teaching chemistry, physics, and mathematics voluntarily. He tutors AP Physics, AP Calculus (through BC), AP Chemistry, and AP English. His tutoring style fosters confidence and independence, for these are the skills he finds necessary for continued success.
