Katya Frimenko

Katya Frimenko is a junior majoring in biological sciences and minoring in psychology and dance. She has worked as a private tutor throughout high school for biology and French, and she also tutored in her high school’s Writing Center where she helped students workshop and improve their writing assignments. Katya tutors a variety of subjects and particularly enjoys working on biology, chemistry, English/writing, and SAT/ACT prep with students. Her tutoring style involves building a solid conceptual foundation and then moving toward application and extension of those concepts. Most importantly, Katya strives to foster a comfortable setting during tutoring and to keep positive communication within the student-tutor team. Katya is a representative on the pre-health advising committee, a member of the NU pre-dental society and secretary of the Public Affairs Residential College. In her spare time, she enjoys running, Pilates, and yoga.
